PMA | 111 Minna Gallery | November 1

A cross section of San Francisco life, "PMA" (short for Positive Mental Attitude) is Ferris Plock and Kelly Tunstall's very personal take on living and working in their hometown; an all new group of studies in paint and sculpture. In many ways site-specific, "PMA" is a study of the vernacular area architecture in contrast with joyful and melancholic, character-driven portraits of internal landscapes, and all too real streetscapes. Working in tandem and collaboratively, the two created "PMA" under the auspices of The Space Program, a new residency program in San Francisco's Dogpatch area. With the assistance of The Space Program's Jud Bergeron, Plock has ventured into both a bronze edition and large sculptural components. "PMA" opens to the public Friday November 1. 111 Minna Gallery is located at 111 Minna off 2nd street. 5–11 PM. On view through December 20.
